My Labrador Kira literally overnight developed a large lump on her shoulder, which turned out to be what's called a seroma (fluid filled cyst). I was frightened to say the least, thought it was cancer and we were facing something sinister, but I was also SO relieved to be able to run every test needed to determine the prognosis because I had Embrace. Embrace not only provides amazing service, great rates and products, but also total peace of mind that my beloved pet is in great hands with both her vet and Embrace. My claim was processed in less than a week and a check issued within 2 weeks. It has been a LONG time since I've dealt with a company who actually does what they promise to do in a totally seamless manner, AND does it professionally with a smile and outstanding service. I came across Embrace Pet Insurance at the OC Pet Expo and signed up for a free trial thinking I wouldn't keep; so many people have told me that pet insurance is a scam. We had just rescued our dog and were new to all the dog options. During our Embrace trial, our dog got very sick, woke up one morning throwing up. It was so scary and we took her to the vet right away. The vet bill was around $600 after scans and medicine. I called Embrace to ask them if her medical bill would be covered. I was expecting some run around and a denial. To my surprise, they said "YES"! I couldn't believe it. I filled out some very simple paper work and they walked me through their simple process. Each time I called, someone very nice spent time answering my questions and walked me through all the steps. After the $300 annual deductible, I received a check for $110. I'm keeping Embrace. It's worth it! It buys me peace of mind knowing that I can take the best care of our dog and not stress out over vet bills if she gets sick or hurt. I like a company that practices good customer service. Thank you Embrace for offering this great service and for pulling me over at the OC pet expo to have me sign up for a trial! A couple years ago I purchased Embrace insurance knowing I would eventually run into high expenses for our great dane BooBoo. BooBoo was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, it was devastating but the Embrace representatives made the whole oncology care and claims process bearable. As a professional healthcare worker I have high expectations of the medical field including the veterinarian field, the Embrace team went over and beyond their duties and certainly beyond my expectations. We lost our beloved BooBoo but thank you Embrace team for making this devastating process a little easier.
