Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

We have had Embrace insurance for both of our Lab mixes since our they were pups 4 years ago. We just submitted a claim for hot spots and will be receiving a check for 80% of the bill next week. We have always been very pleased with how easy it is to submit claims and we have always received exactly what our policy dictates based on what hated out of a pet policy. Even though I would consider both our dogs healthy. Being very active outdoor loving labs who spend a lot of time running in the woods, they do get hurt or have minor issues. Even our vet is very impressed with our Embrace insurance and is now recommending it to other patients owners. We also always recommend Embrace to other pet owners.

I bought my 1st policy from Embrace alomst a year ago. They've made so many mistakes, I can't name them all, from asking the wrong vet for info on my dog to processing a medical/wellness claim as just a wellness claim. Now they refuse to pay any portion(including Heartguard) for that claim. They say they can't get the info they need from the vet (that lying vet said they gave them all the info they asked for-when they finally asked the right vet). Apparently, this is a normal tactic to avoid paying a legitimate claim. They haven't paid any medical claims (deductible),and wouldn't have to for this claim; they just use it as an excuse not to pay the wellness claim. This is the kind of company that gives insurance a bad name.

That really sums it up!! I am so glad that I decided to start using Embrace last year for my (now) 3 pugs, 2 of which are seniors. They are so helpful and accommodating when I call to ask questions or change my policy in some way. The claims are processed so quickly, and I never have to worry about the details. If I hadn't Embraced them I would now have to work another job!

Certainly, one of the very best investments for my dog, Embrace Insurance has helped to subsidize the Vet bills incurred recently. We have had a bout of Sharpei Fever and miscellaneous inflammatory issues along with a bacterial infection. Embrace Insurance quickly and efficiently paid out 80 percent. Thank you!
