Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Our 10 yr old was diagnosed with low thyroid. Embrace quickly covered the claim, paying just how they said they would. They are so good about documenting how they pay but are also willing to explain their claim payments even further. Such good cooperative folks with which to deal.

My dog needed exploratory surgery on the weekend-knowing that most of the cost would be covered by her Embrace policy was a great relief. The claim process was reasonable, took a little longer than I expected but eventually was reimbursed as expected. Make sure your vet sends in your pet's medical history up front to shorten claims processing-I found that mine had not and that slowed things down.

A couple of months ago, my 2 year old boxer mix woke up in the middle of the night after wetting the bed (very unlike him) and was obviously not ok. I went to the emergency vet at 3am where they had him admitted for three days for spiked kidney and liver levels. We have had Embrace Insurance for three years. For the past two years we have had not issues so we began to question if we really needed it. Let me say, I am happy we kept it. Our dog recently tore her ACL and required surgery. Our vet submitted the bill on our behalf and within 5 days of the event Embrace has paid on the claim. The portal kept us up to date of the review process as well as receiving email updates. Embrace is professional, quick and a pleasure to do business with.
