Not Happy
I have Prescription Coverage for my Germanshepherd and have notreceived any money for any Prescriptions! What is the point of this, if

Great company to work with
Trista is a pug mix. She has a digit on her eye and has to go to the vets multiple times. All the claims were handled quickly. Super company to work with. I had another provider for my previous dog and can honestly say, embrace beats them for customer service.

The only bright spot about going to the vet
When my dog Duke was a puppy, I took him to the a neighborhood vet that came highly recommended to us by our neighbors. I researched a bunch of pet insurance companies and had decided on Embrace. The first time a gave an Embrace claim form to our vet, the receptionist said that she had never heard of Embrace, which scared me, but deciding to go with Embrace for coverage was the best thing I could of done for Duke. Every claim that is sent in I get something back from them, with a detailed, full explanation of my refund. Whenever I need to take Duke to the vet, I feel like a have a partner helping me pay his bills and it eliminates the worry. I am so grateful to them for providing me with the peace of mind that the do!!!!! Thank you!!!

easy to work with!
I have had a great experience with Embrace so far. Luckily, I haven't had too many claims, but for the ones I did have, they were easy to submit and were processed quickly and fairly.

Rough Start, but....
Having no previous experience with this type of insurance, it was a rough start. There were misunderstandings, delayed paperwork (on both sides), etc. However, after false starts and resubmissions, one side finally caught up with the other.
I'm sure all claims and submissions will be promptly addressed in the future.
My overall rating at this point is more than likely not indicative of their best work. I'm sure this will change for the better as we continue to work together. Until that time, I will remain non-comittal.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
