Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I never really thought of pet insurance until my sons cat had issues and cost a fortune. I thought I better get some while she is young and healthy. This year our cat has had some health issues and there is no way we could have been able to afford it all. It has taken off some of the financial stress. Thanks

Coverage was for accidental and wellness only. I thought the wellness coverage would cover illness as well. I paid for insurance that I could not use when it was needed for my dying cat.

We are currently dealing with our 21 month old Labrador Retriever having issues with her hind leg. She injured it during the summer resulting in rest and medication. When she goes back to her activities we are back to the problem. Just had x-rays and now waiting for her to see an Orthopedic Surgeon to see what his thoughts are. We are so thankful for this insurance. Fortunately we have only needed it for small issues but this could turn out to not be a small expense. I am so pleased with Embrace and tell anyone who has gotten a new puppy, please get them insurance, you will be thankful if they become injured or become ill. Best decision we made for our Molly girl.

Lakshmi was diagnosed with a bladder stone requiring surgery. I called Embrace to see if we were covered for a second opinion. The staff was very helpful. They recommended we add a wellness plan as the coverage would cover special dietary needs if needed. We were covered for the second opinion. The second vet also recommended the surgery, as the stone was quite large. During the waiting period before the surgery was scheduled, Lakshmi's diet was changed - she's getting homecooked food, and the new vet provided some remedies. When Lakshmi went in for her surgery, the stone was gone. During this process, there were a LOT of vet bills, and I was reimbursed for all of them within days. I I am soooo thankful for the excellent customer service and prompt reimbursement. I was not an insurance fan, but I give Embrace 10 stars! Highly recommend.
