Embrace Pet Insurance-Well Worth It

I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for four years. Unfortunately I have used it now twice. The first was a knee reconstruction on my Head and not only did they pay the claim after the deductible, they got additional bills from the vet and paid those even though I had not submitted them. This time two GSD got into Ibuprofen and the bill after one week at the emergency vet was $5600 Embrace paid $4407 of it and made it possible to continue the care they needed so as to reduce the possibility of kidney failure and keep my girls alive. When you wonder about $400 a dog per year PLEASE remember these stories. I could not afford (although I would find a way) to care for my GSDs without stress if it were not for this company.

Taken Care of...

Claim processing time has gotten much better. I should have done the Nutriscan (Food Test) and Spectrum (Environment test)before my claim expired in Nov, but that was on me and had too much going on at the time. So I paid my deductible and happy with the results and now have a better idea how to tweak Jackson's meal. Bottom line is you never know when you'll need care for your furry family member, but Embrace has been there and will always be appreciative of their services...

Thank you Embrace

Very happy I have Embrace for all my 4 kitties. One of them had cancer , another one developed a urinary tract infection, and having insurance made a huge difference. You dont realize how expensive treatments can be until something happens . Its money well invested, having insurance for you pets. With Embrace the whole process its smooth : claim submission as well as reimbursements. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.

Awesome and Speedy service

DrSandra O'connor with Cedarwood Animal Hospital gave a brochure for your company while I was in her office and explained how everything on the program worked I took the wellness plan and am very pleased with the service so I will be adding all of my animals and I will probably sign up for the insurance.I have recommended Embrace to everyone I know that has animals.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
