Meets expectations in a big way....

Embrace's staff is very knowledgeable and helpful anytime I call; which doesn't happen much. It is good to know I won't have to battle my way through phone menu hell. More to the point, Embrace has met every expectation I have as it relates to the insurance policy. No doubt I am getting all of the service I signed up for - unfortunate for my cats who have had their share of procedures. However, they are still around as two of them would have died had I not had the insurance. Thank you Embrace team!!!

I'm so grateful!

Never having had pet insurance before, I was not sure what to expect. Then my puppy developed a totally unexpected problem that would have meant permanent lameness if not treated. Embrace has been reliable and prompt. I even got approval for the major surgery needed to fix the problem within 7 days including Thanksgiving weekend. What a relief! I nowtell everyone how well I and my puppy have been treated by Embrace.

semi pleased

I submitted my first claim recently and wanted to submit a fair review about it. Embrace makes it easy to submit everything via email/fax etc, and their agents are helpful on the phone. The fine print I did not read was their $300 annual deductible, which for insurance is standard, but killed me on my first claim since it was almost $500. I guess something is better than nothing, however will probably start researching insurance w a lower deductible.

On a Scale of 1-10 Embrace is an 11 !!

Great Customer Service, very fast reimbursement, the claim process is easy and if anything is left unchecked on my end, Embrace contacts my veterinarian directly and works with them to finalize the matter and get the claim processed and I have the invaluable peace of mind knowing my dog can receive the best veterinary care possible because I have the insurance to pay for it. What could be better than that??? I Love Embrace! :-)

claims

I wish I could write a favorable review about this company but it sure lacks in the claims processing department. I have to resubmit the same claim several times in order to get everything paid. They seem to have tunnel vision and will only process 1 line at a time.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
