Unexpected major surgery covered at 80%

I had coverage only for catastrophes ($1,000 deductible) for 6 years with no claims, then my dog tore his ACL and needed a $3,000 surgery. After 6 years I was surprised that Embrace required vet records going back to the time I first got the dog before they would pay the claim, but they did pay and after that they were very responsive to emails. They also provide a website claims tracker that works well.

Very impressed with Embrace

I was skeptical of all insurances, but when I looked at Embrace, all my fears disappeared. They have been great with communication, and extremely fast about reimbursement I'm happy I cgose them!

Excellent Pet Insurance

I have had Embrace since I got my Great Dane. He will be 2 this month and I have both Accident/Illness and Wellness. Both are excellent coverage, the wellness covers everything affiliated with annual check-up & maintenance meds. Have also used the illness as my boy has a sensitive tummy. All claims are processed quickly and reimbursement takes only a couple of days. Customer service staff are polite, helpful and friendly. I have recommended Embrace to a co-worker and she signed up the next day.

Very easy to deal with

I have had Embrace over the last few years for my bulldogge and they have been really easy to deal. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for pet insurance.

It's a good thing my puppy's so cute...

My very crazy puppy, in just eight months with me, has managed to end up in the emergency hospital twice. If not for Embrace reimbursing many of my costs, I would not be able to keep her!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
