Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I could not have given my fur babies the care and attention they needed withouth Embrace. Over the years, my cat remained quite healthy, while my dog suffered completely random and unforeseeable accidents or illness: punctured iris (happened before I rescued but noticed it as soon as I brought her home), urinary issues, oral braces because her bottom k-9 was growing into the roof of her mouth, shoulder tendinitis, and the most significant was a compressed disk that prevented her from walking, among other gastrointestinal issues. With the back surgery alone, I received all the premiums I had paid up for 5 years to that point, for both my pets. My insurance paid for itself. And if that isn't enough, Embrace, for all my claims, was quick to notify when they received a claim, when it was processed, and when and how to much to expect my reimbursement. The process never took more than 4 weeks, on the long end. Earlier this month, my cat passed away. I received condolence emails, as well as a virtual candle lit in my boy's memory, from Embrace. I appreciate all they have done for me and my fur babies. <3

My male outdoor cat had a very high fever. He refused to drink or eat. The vet saw him that very same day. There were numerous tests that were done to determine the type of infection. My cat was given a shot of an antibiotic. He was given an oral antibiotic as well as something to sooth his stomach. It took a week for my cat to get better but he is up and running. Apparently, in our area, there were raccoons that were carrying some type of virus that was making dogs and their owners ill. The vet submitted the claim to Embrace. I received an email from Embrace that they received the claim and would process it within 10 business days. As always, the claim was processed sooner than that and my reimbursement check was in my mailbox. We have used many pet insurance companies in the past but Embrace always has an explanation of benefits that is easy to understand. Other pet insurance companies have changed month to month what is covered. Embrace is reliable and affordable.

After having my dog insured at another pet insurance company for first 10 years of her life I decided to cancel their insurance due to increasing annual premium and not have insurance for my dog. I did this for one year then I decided to find an insurance for my dog again due to her age nearing 12 years and health issues that will follow naturally due to her age. Next step for my dog is radiation treatment if I decide to go that route and Pet Embrace has already told me that radiation treatment will be covered and they are there to support me whatever decision I take from now. It's great to know Pet Embrace Insurance is behind me and knowing that they will insure me on expensive radiation therapy is a huge relief.
