Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace has been there through all of this horrible cancer treatment. I feel like I have someone on my side. Wonderful company.

I thought about getting pet insurance after a friend, whose dog was about the same age as my Maggie, accumulated high medical bills. I wondered what I would do if Maggie needed emergency care. After researching, I chose Embrace. April of 2017 Maggie had blood in her urine. An ultrasound showed a bladder mass. She started on antibiotics. A month later she developed pain in her rt knee. We started shots and anti-inflammatory meds. 3 weeks later she was improving, tried to jump onto a bed, didn't make it, and injured her other knee. That was a Sunday. We took her to an emergency pet hospital, she stayed over night, surgery the next day to repair her torn cruciate ligament & remove the bladder mass. One more night at pet hospital. Unfortunately, she developed kidney failure and we lost her two weeks later. We paid out over $5,000 in the month & I worried I wouldn't get any reimbursement. Embrace was wonderful!! After subtracting the deductible, I received 80% of the claim amount. It was easy to contact customer service, speak with a human being and get what assistance I needed. Will go with Embrace when I get a new dog.

Seems we always have issues with claims, right now we have submitted 2 claims and 1 has been handled now have to calll again and find out what's up with ER claim. Nothing ever goes smoothly

Embrace was essential in our ability to treat our one-year-old cocker spaniel's sudden onset of immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA). When we took our puppy to the emergency hospital, we were presented with both a dire diagnosis and an eye-popping estimated treatment cost. Because we had Embrace insurance, we were able to focus on getting our puppy healthy and not about affording care. We're delighted that our puppy has fully covered and is once again the playful dog she was before becoming ill. We are grateful to Embrace each day we have her!

Every single time I've called embrace for a question they have been more than helpfula and kind in answering. My little bichonpoo has to get surgery and they said if I wanted to feel comfortable that it would be covered to her a pre certification done prior, and within a couple of days it was done and approved! I can't say enough about them, better than my own insurance plan! I can definately say I recommend you guys to everyone I speak to about animals!
