Embrace is the best pet insurance EVER!

My dog had an ACL tear. The cost of the bill was 90% covered, just like they promised. Easy to submit claims, quick reimbursement. Awesome company.

I was a doubter, until I had to use it.

This was our first time using pet insurance and a making a claim for our dog. We didn't get insurance for our previous two dogs and regretted it. When we got our current pup we did the orthopedic review in order to document that there were no pre-existing conditions. That process was simple and took very little time, our vet was happy to help with the exam as part of initial wellness screening when we brought the dog home. Fast forward several years and the dog has torn his cruciate ligament and can't walk. We scheduled surgery with the vet to repair his knee and the vet submitted the claim form with documentation for us. Embrace processed our claim in a few days and covered the surgery as well as the required diagnostic x-rays. The claim process was updated on the website and there was no fuss. TBH, I doubted if I needed this kind of coverage when I got it but I am very glad to have it.

Great Service Every Time

Embrace has covered Fred through several illnesses, as he is getting a bit older (now 11+ years). We are very happy with the response and coverage. We have recommended Embrace to every pet owner who asked whether we have pet insurance and if we are happy with what we have.

Excellent coverage!

Embrace has been wonderful about covering all of our vet claims, quickly and simply. Now when my golden retriever is sick, I am able to take her to the vet and get the care she needs. It's so nice not to have to worry about finances when my dog is sick! I highly recommend Embrace pet insurance.

Excellent Experience for 8 years plus

Embrace continues to provide us with excellent service and coverage. We've had Embrace for a little more than 8 years when we first got our Boxer; Judah. Judah has been on anti-seizure medications for almost a year, due to a brain tumor. Getting that diagnoses (as well as a tumor in his heart) was costly, but Embrace covered with their usual efficiency. Thank God we have Embrace to help with the cost of the medications. Embrace has helped make this last year of his life possible. He's been seizure free since on the medication regime and lives a quality life. Every day we have with him is a blessing. Thanks Embrace for making this possible.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
