Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I have my cats insured with Embrace for several years, and have always been pleased. It is a security blanket. We live in the middle of NYC; vets are so expensive. This is worth every penny. Most recently it was a wee hours to an emergency hospital. One of the guys had an infected salivary gland. Claim was submitted and paid within a couple of weeks. This is a sensible and sensitive plan

I was skeptical of pet insurance in general. There are so many factors and methods it was difficult to choose one. Embrace works exactly as advertised. Annual deductible instead of per visit. The have covered the 80% they agreed to on all 4 of our claims over the past 2 years. Claims are processed within a couple weeks and their customer service has been excellent. I honestly think it's better insurance then I get from my employer.

I've been using Embrace for about 6 months and I can't think of anything negative about the experiences I've had. I wish human insurance were this easy! I have three dogs ensured with them and one needed both knees fixed. They've been so helpful in making sure that I had everything I needed to get the reimbursement check right away. Their claims processing takes about a week and you can have the check mailed or direct deposited into an account. Their pricing and fee schedule is upfront with no surprises. I work in insurance and wish my company worked like this! Love it. The pricing is very reasonable and easily customized to each dog on policy. I love the wellness rewards aspect of the insurance too. Makes it easy to take care of my dogs. Their phone reps are all so nice and friendly and it doesn't sound fake or scripted. They seem to genuinely care. I wonder if they can bring their dogs to work....

Embrace offers what they call "wellness rewards" - essentially a health savings account for dogs. I added this to my policy on Monday, took my dog to the vet on Tuesday for some vaccinations, and on Thursday they mailed me a check for the full amount I paid the vet -- including his nail trim and heart-worm preventative. I couldn't be more pleased!

Embrace has been nothing but helpful in the last couple months since I started my plan! Very friendly and quick responses. I work at a pet store and I always recommend Embrace to pet owners looking for insurance.
