Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Once again very happy with the way Embrace has handled my claim. I ve been with them for over 5 yrs now, all my 4 kitties. Every interaction with Embrace has been smooth, from claim submission to the payment itself. I never had unpleasant surprises regarding the coverage. Thank you so much Embrace.

My male outdoor cat had a very high fever. He refused to drink or eat. The vet saw him that very same day. There were numerous tests that were done to determine the type of infection. My cat was given a shot of an antibiotic. He was given an oral antibiotic as well as something to sooth his stomach. It took a week for my cat to get better but he is up and running. Apparently, in our area, there were raccoons that were carrying some type of virus that was making dogs and their owners ill. The vet submitted the claim to Embrace. I received an email from Embrace that they received the claim and would process it within 10 business days. As always, the claim was processed sooner than that and my reimbursement check was in my mailbox. We have used many pet insurance companies in the past but Embrace always has an explanation of benefits that is easy to understand. Other pet insurance companies have changed month to month what is covered. Embrace is reliable and affordable.

After having my dog insured at another pet insurance company for first 10 years of her life I decided to cancel their insurance due to increasing annual premium and not have insurance for my dog. I did this for one year then I decided to find an insurance for my dog again due to her age nearing 12 years and health issues that will follow naturally due to her age. Within three months of having Pet Embrace Insurance my dog got diagnosed with sheath nerve tumor on the nerve of her brain. She went through many diagnostics to find the cause...full blood work, x-ray scan, but ultimately MRI found the culprit. It was not cheap for diagnoses I mentioned. I had zero issue with the claim and it was paid out rapidly. Pet Embrace staffs were very friendly and genuinely concerned with my dog's wellbeing. Next step for my dog is radiation treatment if I decide to go that route and Pet Embrace has already told me that radiation treatment will be covered and they are there to support me whatever decision I take from now. It's great to know Pet Embrace Insurance is behind me and knowing that they will insure me on expensive radiation therapy is a huge relief. I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me so far and full support they will give as I evaluate what is best for my dear family member. Embrace has always been quick to respond and paid claims promptly. I read about them in Ingrid King's Conscious Cat Facebook column and she was exactly right. They're the best, and so worth the peace of mind. The only thing worse than being told your beloved companion needs a $2000 bladder operation and then a $2700 urinary operation 3 months later would have been not having Embrace Pet Insurance. Who has that money readily available? Not us.
