Benefit Well Worth It

We will never own another pet without insurance. Hard lesson learned after we had one that cost us $400 a month for her special needs. We bought nsurance from Embrace for our 2 adopted dogs. They have been a true blessing for us. One had cancer in her hind leg and then a ruptured disk which required a neurosurgeon. They pretty much covered 80 percent after our yearly deductible. Without them these surgeries would have truly put us in debt and may even have caused us to put her down. She is getting stronger by the day and brings us much happiness. Thank you Embrace for making her surgeries possible. .

They are true to their word.

My little love bug of a doggy was diagnosed with Pyometra and had to have same day emergency surgery. It was an unexpected expense and minus my deductible, they literally paid the full percentage of the total bill they said they would. I was pleased :) She had never fallen ill and I was making a decision to drop the plan the following month. I will definitely be keeping it!

So far so good!

I decided t purchase a policy through Embrace because it seemed to have the most positive reviews. After purchasing, my puppy needed his 2nd set of shots. I submitted the claim and within ~48 hrs, I received a message stating my claim had been reviewed and approved with reimbursement check en route. If this is the type of exemplary service I'm to continue to receive, I'm certainly glad I went with this company.

Happy with Embrace

I have recommended to numerous friends! Great company, very caring, and good coverage. They process claims in a timely fashion, and are open to discussion about covered-not covered. I have had a policy on two different dogs over the past couple of years.

Responsive to requests

Embrace is efficient processing claims and their communication is great. I recently lost my cat, and there was a little glitch with the claim for his final vet expenses. But the staff was responsive, solved everything quickly, and sent us a check for the amount over our deductible. In addition, they never failed to express sympathy, and even sent us a card that was personally signed by several staff members. Thanks for your service.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
