Excellent customer service

Our first claim required the vet to submit the prior year's health history, which I didn't expect. However, the claim was handled quickly and my emails were answered to explain the process. I'm very pleased with the coverage, payment and excellent customer service.

Excellence bar none

Our JRT had ER visit as she likes to hunt lizards and frogs and had a reaction to the frog she got ahold of. Embrace staff helped us set up our account and how to get our claim processed. They made it easy and we were reimbursed quickly. I highly recommend pet insurance and I recommend Embrace!

older pet

Have a older cat and she got really sick when we lost our dog . she was heart broken and we almost lost her from kidney failure . We got the insurance when our other cat got sick and it was the only insurance that took oldercats .We carry other insurance for our other animals and they are very quick to resolve a claim it took over 2 months for your insurance to resolve the claim . I'm please with insurance , but time factor is not good .

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
