Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

We were reluctant to buy pet insurance for a long time because of the cost of premiums. Then a friend told us about Embrace and how happy she has been with their product (she has been a customer for over 5 years). So we bought a premium and it has made a huge difference in our pet care budget and has taken away the worry of expensive vet bills. Our only regret is that we did not buy insurance years ago when 3 of our dogs needed cancer treatment. I asked my employer if they would become a corporate partner with Embrace (no cost to my employer/no payroll deduction) and they agreed. Now I receive a 10% discount and have been telling my pet owning co-workers about the benefits of pet insurance. Thank you Embrace!

Superb coverage, fabulous service and quick response to claims.

So far, things have gone good with Embrace. I adopted a shelter kitty and she arrived with some dermatitis and sneezing. They did put a temporary year hold on any medical reimbursements for these items, as pre-existing conditions. Not an issue for me as both cleared up quickly this some basic care. And no reimbursement ever pertaining the kink in her tail...but that's cosmetics so who cares! Where I have appreciated Embrace is my little Willow episodes of mouth breathing/panting and that is not normal for cats. X-rays (covered by Embraced per my insurance coverage choices) showed clear lungs (yeah, no signs of asthma!) but where not conclusive on her heart. They covered the echocardiogram and had my claim processed in under a week. It frightening when you have a young cat--just a year old--having indications of abnormalities and within the first six month of my insurance coverage. But Willow is doing great and I'm optimistic I will not be making another claim for many, many year!

Very easy to use. Usually receive payment within 2weeks.

I took my dog in for her annual checkup. I submitted a wellness claim on Wednesday. 100% of the amount was covered, and th claim was approved on Monday. You just can't ask for any more.
