Stop looking and get Embrace Pet Insurance.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical about taking out pet insurance 7 years ago. I settled on Embrace after much research. I had no need to use it until recently when my GSD needed TPLO surgery. They have been so kind and very efficient about settling my claim. I can't thank the Embrace team enough for everything they have done through this stressful time. When they say "the checks in the mail"..........They're not kidding!!!! Thanks a million Embrace.

I had an unexpected medical emergency…

I had an unexpected medical emergency with my cavalier spaniel on a Sunday. I had to take her to an emergency vet and the total bill was very expensive. Embrace insurance paid exactly what my policy said it would. They were very timely with their response and with my reimbursement as well. I would recommend them.

I have called about my dogs ACL being…

I have called about my dogs ACL being torn, and the devastation I was in and had great customer experience with Kyle. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, up front about expectations for getting my puppy taken care of and the claim submitted. The paperwork was sent out to my email within minutes of getting off the phone. The claim was submitted and processed just as quickly. Thank you Kyle for your hard work and dedication to my fur animal in helping me get him taken care of you're the best! Because of your amazing help, my dog is in full recovery and doing better! :D

Don't use this service

I would not recommend this service to anyone. It is a complete waste of money. I signed up for my 9-year old Staffie and every single claim filed got denied because of "pre existing" conditions. In my case they considered an upset stomach as a pre existing condition. Which insurance companies are not supposed to deny treatment for either way. I think this company is a scam. Stay away!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
