2 dogs dental care

Have 2 dogs that needed a lot of dental work that was very expensive. Thank goodness for this insurance. My claims were done in a fast time and I received my checks in 5 days.

My policy renewal had a 33% increase…

My policy renewal had a 33% increase for both my pets after just 1 year for the sole reason that they aged one year. They had no medical issues or new diagnosis. No changes in health at all. When I spoke with customer service they said this increase was likely to happen every single year. I immediately cancelled my policy.

Embrace is a very good pet insurance company

Embrace has been pretty fair to me and my dogs. Some claims have taken a bit longer to process than others, but ultimately all have been accepted. Their customer service staff is as friendly and helpful as they come.

I had researched 2 other pet insurance…

I had researched 2 other pet insurance companies and I am so happy I went with Embrace. My new puppy had his first wellness check up on Wednesday and I submitted my claim and by Friday the claim was approved. I am so happy I made the choice to sign up with Embrace and River is in good hands. Thank you all !!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
