We had an emergency with our dog and the regular emergency clinic we would go to was very busy. Not knowing King Hopkins was not an emergency clinic, we called them because they were open. I was pleasantly surprised to speak to someone who was genuinely concerned about what was happening with my dog. I believe I spoke to Steven at the front desk. He advised me that they were not an emergency clinic, however, they are open 24-7 and would be able to accommodate us in half an hour. This was wonderful! When we arrived with Oscar, Dr. Gregory was able to see him very quickly. He was so kind and gentle. Dr. Gregory ran some initial urine and blood tests and was very thorough with his explanation of what was happening with Oscar and in a way that we understood. Unfortunately, our dog needed more specialized care and we were referred to the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital, but before we went there, the reception staff processed our TruPanion insurance claim on our behalf and sent all necessary documentation to the emergency hospital ahead of time. They even followed up a few days later to see how Oscar was doing. Excellent care, empathy and service from King Hopkins. Thank you! Allison Lemmings and Oscar.

I can't say enough good things about King Hopkins Pet Hospital! This was our first visit, as our beloved Shorkie, Teddy, wasn't feeling well with a suspected UTI. From the moment we walked in, the friendly and professional staff welcomed and reassured us. Dr. Gauravpreet Kaur and Dr. April Miller attended Teddy with exceptional care and kindness. They treated him like a valued client, taking the time to make him feel at ease. They explained every step of the process thoroughly and conducted tests to confirm the diagnosis. Their expertise and patient-centred approach made us feel comfortable and confident in their care. The team's professionalism and genuine compassion were outstanding. We felt thrilled with the service and incredibly grateful for their attention to detail. Teddy is already on the mend, and we know we've found our go-to veterinary clinic. Thank you, Dr. Kaur, Dr. Miller, and the entire King Hopkins Pet Hospital team for treating Teddy like family! We highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality pet care. We cannot thank the team enough at King Hopkins Pet Hospital for all of their kindness, dedication and gratitude while caring for our cat! The entire team treated us like family even when emotions ran high (for me) when feeling stressed about my fur baby. They were so caring and offered a gentle approach every time we connected while our cat was hospitalized. We are forever thankful for this amazing team in saving our girl while mending her back to health! They will have our trust always!

Wonderful vets here and they're open 24 hours a day which is comforting. The only issue would be frontline staff experiencing occasional confusion as to who ordered which medicine when. It's improved over the last 6 months. Otherwise staff is helpful and kind.

So happy I found this vet for my 3 cats. One of my cats needed surgery they were very informative and compassionate. I felt very comfortable with the procedure. They are always prompt with service. Very happy with their level of care they provide my cats!!
