How to Save Money at Robinson Pet Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
Dr. Aziz was our trusted veterinarian since we moved to Milton almost 5 years ago. He and his staff provided exceptional care with our senior dog Buddy over these years, and showed us the utmost care and compassion when it came time for us to say goodbye to him a couple of months ago. We were given time and space to grieve and be with our little guy before, during, and after saying goodbye... I am immensely grateful for the understanding shown to us during that time. We truly believe that Dr. Aziz and his team were instrumental to us having more years with our little guy than we thought we would, and my only regret is that we didn't meet Dr. Aziz and his team many years earlier. They are honest at this clinic, they answer all questions and concerns, they truly do seem to care about the animals, and we never once felt as though we were pressured to pay for tests or medications that were trivial or unnecessary. I also appreciated that they reviewed estimates with us in advance, and would provide a range of expected final costs at any appointment so that it wasn't a shock afterwards. In terms of their pricing, they're on par with what I've seen elsewhere in the GTA/GTHA.

Dr Aziz and the staff are attentive and take great care. Always available to call and give advice openly, they seem to take an interest in his history, and provide extra time and listen to ensure longterm care decisions are made correctly. Pets can be expensive so the clinic makes clear all necessary costs, but never seems to pressure or suggest unnecessary or over charges. They have our trust and make our pet's care their top concern.

READ THIS REVIEW❤️❤️❤️: THIS IS THE BEST VET. when i got my cat, vets were scare. i called robinson pet and they had her in the same day for her shots. since i’ve had luna there have been instances where she’s needed to see a vet and when i call their office, they have her in within a few hours. the receptionists are incredibly polite and you can tell they give everything to these animals just to make sure they are okay. my cat recently got out of the hospital (burlington as it was night when we had to take her) with a lower respiratory infection, where she was put on oxygen. we weren’t sure if she was going to make it. my cat is my absolute world and my heart felt so heavy. few days later, she was feeling better but vomiting where we took her to robinson pet hospital. her vet is an amazing man. he handles her with care and makes sure she is okay. i asked him if she is going to be okay and he provided me reassurance that she will most definetly be okay because she’s getting better and she just needs to antibiotics. he gave her a shot of antibiotics and new meds for us to take home. walking into the office, he had already read the report the burlington hospital sent and expressed empathy and said “we are gonna work together as a team” and that she will be more than fine. I could say i’m grateful for this office but that would be an understatement, i am beyond grateful. abby the receptionist is exceptional as well. i want to thank robinson pet hospital for being our rock whenever luna has been under the weather and giving me confidence that she will be more than okay ❤️ best, aleksandra lunas owner

I took my very sick cat here 6 weeks ago, and I was distraught and a total mess. They really make you feel like they care about you and your pets here. This is a business with a beating heart and Dr. Aziz is amazing at what he does. The girls who work here are exemplary humans who are very kind and attentive. They even followed up weeks after our visit to check on my baby and make sure he was doing well. My cat has since made a full recovery, and we are very grateful. Thank you for everything that you do. Best veterinary clinic in town!!!
