We had an outstanding experience at Strasburg Animal Hospital. This was our first visit to a veterinarian in Canada, as our beloved cat, Dollar, was suffering from an allergy. Despite our appointment being at 6 PM, we were delayed due to work and called the clinic to request a reschedule for 8 PM or later. The staff was incredibly accommodating and agreed to the change despite their busy schedule. Dr. Chatrath was exceptional. He took the time to thoroughly explain Dollar’s condition and the proposed treatment, answering all our questions with great patience. His friendly demeanour and genuine care for our cat were evident, and Dollar seemed to respond positively to the attention and treatment. We are grateful for the compassionate care and flexibility offered by Strasburg Animal Hospital. Thank you for making our first experience in Canada so positive and for taking such great care of Dollar.

Older reviews will have conflicting thoughts. This is due to the previous Doctor (Dr. Walia) he's had issues with the College of Veterinarians. He no longer works here. The new Doctor, Dr Chatrath is phenomenal. As other reviews have said, he's dedicated, compassionate, and really friendly. He wants what's best for your furry friend. I've never seen a doctor work this hard before. The hospital is open for a long time every day and he and his staff are always available. It really shows how much he cares about the animals he treats. Dr C and his staff are always very flexible. Maybe the best vet clinic I've been to.

Dr. Chatrath is amazing! He is very knowledgable and you can tell he loves his job and he loves the animals he works with. Him and his team took amazing care of my dog Teddy when he got fixed. Another plus is that they see bearded dragons, while most vets in the area do not. I cannot recommend Strasburg Animal Hospital or Dr. Chatrath enough.

This weekend I found myself in the urgent position of needing to take my young puppy into the vet after he ingested something he shouldn't have. I was able to secure an appointment with this vet shortly after I reached out and explained my concern. I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive care we received from all staff at the clinic and appreciated the kindness they showed my puppy. They took the time to ensure that my pup was feeling comfortable during his assessment and cared for him in a way that showed that they did truly care about animals. The vet was informative about treatment options and broke down possible treatment plans in a transparent manner to us. I didn't feel a sense of hesitation or pressure with regards to the final treatment plan we chose. The administrative staff was equally kind and approachable as we entered the clinic and throughout our experience there. We're incredibly grateful to the team here because they helped us with an urgently sick pup with such professionalism and care. If our usual vet isn't available we will certainly return here for our appointments! Thanks for taking such good care of sweet Ducky! (Pictured is Ducky being his goofy self 30 minutes after we brought him home from his appointment! He was definitely feeling better after receiving your care!)

I recently visited here for emergency services regarding ongoing emesis from my dog. The staff at Strasburg Animal Hospital went above and beyond to ensure my dog was correctly assessed, and successfully taken care of. I have never received such professional, and pristine care from a veterinarian as I have here. Not only was I able to receive exceptional care for my dog, but was also included in the decision making process. The Dr. provided me with a comprehensive breakdown of each procedure that was carried out, as well as beneficial options regarding client financial standing. After visiting here for the first time, I will no longer be returning to my regular vet and encourage others to transfer here as well. I absolutely love that the staff here, care for the animals as if they are their own pets. Strasburg team members are extremely personable, and always put your animals first while offering flexible hours to compliment client needs. They stayed after hours to ensure my dog was taken care of, and remained on-call if things were to progress after we went home. I could not recommend this Animal Hospital enough, they deserve all the credit in the world!
