I recently got a puppy and chose Oakland’s Veterinary hospital as my vet clinic. I had no idea what to expect when visiting a but can say I’ve been blown away with all my encounters. Everyone has been so kind, patient and helpful from whomever picks up the phone to Dr. Thornton herself. It’s a busy clinic so it can be difficult to get in right away but the waitlist always comes through! Thanks so much for everything you’ve all done to make being a puppy owner that much easier!

Dr. Grace Thornton is wonderful. She was very attentive to our cat, Daisy, and made her feel comfortable. She took the time to answer all of our questions and didn't rush us. The other staff we interacted with were friendly and accommodating.

I wanted to post a very warm thank you to all the staff at Oaklands Veterinary hospital. Not only did they take great care of my beloved jack russel, but I felt they went above and beyond to treat her with the love and compassion that I would have while she was in their care. It meant a lot to me that she was cuddled and wrapped in a blanket before and after her surgery. Special thank you to Dr Kreager who is a lovely person and did a great job. ❤️🙏

We couldn't be happier with the care we received from Dr. Grace Thornton. She was simply exceptional. My dog Chocapic is truly delighted with her, and so are we. From the moment we walked in, we saw her dedication. She didn't hesitate to examine my dog sitting on the floor, as my dog hates getting on the vet clinic's table, but she spoke to him sweetly and made him feel comfortable. She was incredibly patient with Chocapic, who got scared and even showed his teeth when he was upset, but the doctor patiently waited for him to calm down, keeping him entertained to allow the examination. We're delighted that she's our dog's veterinarian and we look forward to continuing with her. I would recommend anyone in need of an excellent veterinarian to visit her, because it's clear she loves animals. Dr. Grace Thornton Please, continue with your excellent work!😊 You're amazing 🙌
