We cannot say enough positive things about this veterinarian clinic. If we could give them a 10 stars we would. We have recently moved here from New Brunswick and didn’t know anybody or anything about any clinic. We realized our baby girl was in dire emergency and we took her to one hospital , and was told that she had only a very short time to live and then talking to some people that we just met we were recommended to this vet. It was the best decision we’ve ever made. They went over and above to make us feel like we made the right decision for a second opinion . We spoke with Dr. Megan who was amazing and reassured us that we were doing the right thing but then she suggested that another veterinarian, Dr. Petra would call us that evening and we spoke to her for over an hour on the phone before doing the surgery. The next morning we brought our baby back , and they did the surgery and our almost 10 year-old baby is acting like a puppy again because of this amazing team that removed a 9 pound tumour from her belly and removing her spleen as well. Today was our two week check up post surgery and her surprise was a swim in elk Lake!

We’ve had 10 dogs in my life and can say honestly that ELVH is at the top of our list! The staff are so kind, professional and ready, willing and able to help you and your pet(s) in any situation ❤️ We didn’t realize just how sick Ted was 🥲 … we are just so grateful for the professional care and support we all received and Ted is back! to his wonderful self 🥰

This place deserves more than 5 stars. They are compassionate, professional and go above and beyond. The focus is in the best interest of the furry friends always. We’ve had the best experience with both Dr Rachel and Dr Petra. Highly recommend this vet clinic to everyone

New vet for our senior pup (14yr old rescue Chihuahua) - such a great experience! EVERYTHING was top notch from the intake process, the bucolic location (llamas!), super friendly staff, competitive pricing, VERY clean office. Dr. Petra was fabulous! So friendly, professional especially given my dog's abject terror of the process - she did everything she could to ease her anxiety for the exam. I have been taking my small animal's here for 6 years and could not be happier with the care and services offered. The staff are fantastic with me and the animal's. They have been helpful and very accommodating during a couple of difficulties I have had with my boys. My border collie adores being able watch the sheep and other animals on the property.
