How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Oxford Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The BEST veterinarian experience since we got our pup 3 years ago. The most incredibly caring, compassionate and attentive staff. Fantastic communication in person and through email. Dr.Karli is a wonderful, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and experienced vet, I knew Luna was in safe hands with him and I am so grateful that he was able to get her back to feeling her best self. Thank you to the whole team at Oxford Animal Hospital for all you do to make our fur babies feel better.

My wife and I are grateful that we found Dr. Karli when our senior cat fell ill. Unfortunately it ended up being an end of life situation. The kindness and compassion that he and the staff at Oxford Animal Hospital showed us during this emotional time was greatly appreciated. We also feel that Dr. Karli and the rest of the staff are very professional and informative. We would absolutely recommend this Vet to others.

So I went to Oxford Animal Hospital in Port Coquitlam BC just outside Vancouver. I had an emergency I was visiting from Saskatoon and by accident a young boy through a big rock into the water where my dog was playing and my dog tried to catch it in so doing she knocked out three of her front teeth. It was horrible. I ran to the nearest that place that I could find and they could do nothing for me when I went into Oxford Animal Hospital the vet there saw my dog and my need to get this emergency dental surgery now and she accommodated me and my beautiful dog Yuki. I'm on the road I needed to be on the island for work I'm so grateful but she was able to help my beautiful dog out. 100% recommend vets that meet a need.

Of the many vets I have seen over a lifetime of animal care, the Oxford Animal Hospital is easily in my top favourites. He has always found time in his schedule to see my dogs, especially during the more dramatic medical moments, and he always patiently listens to my concerns, no matter how odd or small it may sound. Not only is Dr. Karli an exemplary veterinary, handling both pets and pet parents with skill and consideration, he has put together a dedicated and knowledgeable team that would be the pride of any workplace. The receptionists (Jasmine & Stacey) and the vet assistants (Leslie & Oscar) have been professional, empathetic and very helpful, to both me and my pets. It's evident everyone at the Oxford Animal hospital cares deeply about what they do and can be trusted to care for your pets as if they were their own. I definitely recommend their services.
