How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Lions Park Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Kind, caring Doctors and staff. We are happy to have found them for our dog and cat. Very willing to answer all our questions and spend time explaining things in detail. Service is excellent with no pressure to add on tests ect. Prices are very reasonable, but mostly we are grateful for the compassion shown with our pets.

I’m very grateful with Dr. Naresh Joshi who performed an emergency dental surgery to my little Franchi last month. She was in too much pain during the weekend and I couldn’t find a Vet Hospital in Vancouver for her. Dr Naresh and Ms Priyanka took care of Franchi and now she is enjoying her life again. Thank you 🙏

Very friendly neighbourhood vet! Both the doctors always really thorough and take the time to listen to your concerns. They also make sure you understand any follow up care. I’ve been taking my puppy here and always feel like they’re in good hands.

So thankful that Dr. Joshi has opened up a clinic in Port Coquitlam, since we used to drive quite a ways out to make sure we could see him. It can be stressful taking our 3 year old Bernese mountain dog to the vet, since he is quite big and hyper, but Dr. Joshi’s genuine patience, concern, and care, make it a pleasant experience, and eases any of the concerns and issues we have. The new clinic also has a really pleasant and modern vibe. Thank you again!
