How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Happy Paws Vet Clinic East

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The vet (Dr Fuller) was running an hour behind but was very kind and helpful with my dog, Ellie. He took his time to examine her and tell me what he thought was her problem and then had us scheduled the next week for surgery that went very well. I'm so thankful they could help my dog walk and run again.

I've been taking my pets to Happy Paws for numerous years now and have always received exceptional service. Dr.Erin Heck and her staff are compassionate, professional, and truly care about my beloved animals. The clinic is well-organized, and appointments are run on time. Highly recommend!

I’ve brought my little pup Toby here for years starting at the West location. When I finally had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him, I could feel the empathy and warmth through the phone. I didn’t know what to expect but we were put in a calm quiet room and I got to hold him the entire time. Dr. Kristi was so so kind and wonderful on what was one of the worst days of my life. Thank you so much for taking care of my sweet boy all these years.

Thank you Dr Mark Fuller and everyone at Happy Paws east. Scout had the unfortunate opportunity to go through TPLO surgery after a blown CCL but we couldn't be happier with the love care and everything put towards her operation and recovery. Everyone at HPE was awesome and helped us through this sensitive time! Scouty McScouterson is dong great and back on all fours!!!!

This place is just a money grab and don’t care about the pet at all. Extremely terrible customer service. When you call no one knows what they are talking about then the vet will tell you one thing but reception will say something else. Constant rechecked after being promised there won’t be. Booked to get my dog fixed told it was $500 paid over $900 cause I had other medicine at otherwise would have been $1,100. I highly recommend you go anywhere else. By far the worst clinic I’ve dealt with in the last 11 years of own dogs.
