We were so thankful to have pet insurance when our 4 year old doodle had a stomach emergency and spent two nights in an emergency hospital. The bill was over $6200 and Healthy Paws simply asked for the medical notes from the hospital and they issued payment without a delay.

It has been a disappointing…
It has been a disappointing relationship. From being told that our puppy would be covered from their first vet visit, to being denied benefits for pre-existing conditions (how can a puppy have a pre-existing condition?); to learning that the discount we were being offered wasn’t even competitive with market rate offers outside of our group coverage - it has been a deeply disappointing experience with MetLife.

So far, my calls to MetLife Pet Insurance have been excellent. They’ve answered quickly, the representatives have all been based in the United States and speak very good English, and everyone has been pleasant to work with.
