I used to think they were great
I used to think they were great, then our girls when got older and had challenges. That is when you need them the most, our latest quarterly invoice was $2,000. plus to make matters worse they do not process claims without a challenge. I do not know who we may use in the future for other family members, based on my experience I can not recommend this company.

Finally a website that is designed for humans to find information and easily get quotes (and cats..).
Comprehensive website. Call to customer service was answered rapidly and all of my questions were answered. Great conversation regarding the wellness plan. Very easy enrollment.

Don’t get this pet insurance
Don’t get this pet insurance. First of all the claims take FOREVER, they told me to email my vet for the invoices but even when I reached out to my vet and had them send the information immediately, they still took over a month. The customer service is via phone, they’ll put you on hold and then the agent never seems to know anything and is always super vague and unhelpful. I asked why my payment was higher than the quote they’re giving now for the exact same pet and benefits and nobody could explain it or fix it. She went through and compared the plan to my plan and pet and they were the exact same, which she agreed shouldn’t be the case, but then also said there was nobody I could reach out to and nothing I could do. She just said to cancel the policy and get it again with the new quote but that I’d have to do the waiting period and my last ER visit where my pet was diagnosed with nothing would be considered preexisting condition. How does any of that make sense?? Such an awful experience it all just seems shady

Large vet bill
Had a large, very unexpected bill from our clinic due to our 6 month old pup getting into some pinecone material. Was chocking and coughing. Needed X-rays and throat meds. After our deductible, fetch put rest back into our account within two weeks. We were happy to be reimbursed.

While I know the pet industry has grown 10 fold over the past couple of years and Pets Best is ramping up its claims and customers teams to make themselves the best in the business. I was not disappointed in the turn around time for my claim. I know they are doing their best and things will get better. Hats off to the team for making a difference. Thank you
