I recommend Trupanion to anyone who is considering a family pet. We purchased Trupanion on the advice of a friend. Thank goodness! Our then 6 mo old lab, Abby,tore her right hind "ACL" and needed surgery. We only paid $600 of a $4500 vet bill! Abby needed physical therapy following surgery which we did not sign up for- please do! It's worth it for only another $7 per month! We have Abby covered NOW though! In addition, Trupanion is a great company to deal with- their reps are extremely helpful!

I have Trupanion for my Samoyed pup
I have Trupanion for my Samoyed pup, Appa, and we love it. The company came recommended by my vet and even had a first month free promotion, which was a great budget saver especially in the early months of puppyhood where overall expenses are high. We then continued our insurance and are now paying reasonable prices for great coverage. There are definitely cheaper options but you get what you pay for with Trupanion!
