It took some time to get reimbursed but they did! I’d never used any pet insurance and was unsure it really did what they claim. Yes, thank you ASPCA, really helped our Hoku in her time of need! Aloha, Marcia on Maui

The agent was very pleasant and not pushy. She was thorough and gave details on the plan and services. I explained my budget and she worked within my range. Thank you for the experience.

Nationwide makes filing a claim easy
The process for filing a claim with Nationwide could not be easier. The claim form is pre-filled so that the only thing I have to fill in is the information specific to the claim and attach a copy of the bill. Within a very few days the money is deposited in my bank account. There is no comparison with this and what I go through with Medicare. Seriously, my dogs have far better insurance than I do. Nationwide is one of the best companies I have ever done business with. Based on my pet insurance experience I am planning to switch my other insurance to Nationwide.

Yesterday I called Nationwide to cancel my policy since my beloved dog, Rosie, died. Leslie Moore answered the phone. While we were discussing the claims I’d just sent in, I started to cry. I was crying so hard I couldn’t talk. Leslie kindly offered to call me back today. She did call back today & we finished everything. I’d like to give a huge thank you to Leslie Moore. Her kind, patient, compassionate manner was exactly what I needed in my deep sadness.

Unhappy with coverage
It is very disappointing to receive credit that is less than the monthly premium. My dog had his yearly exam and immunizations. Nothing was covered except a stool test. It is unacceptable.

No insurance policy
I went to your website last week to purchase medical insurance for my dog, and I did find a plan, entered my dog's information and paid. So far, I have not received a welcome package, a copy of the policy, or anything else from you. I know that you charged me the first month premium, but nothing else has happened. I am wondering what follows. Do I have to call you in order to get a policy number, and related documents that any professional insurance company would offer? I am beginning to regret choosing you to take care of my dog. Magdalena Sanchez

Well I still have a claim open that needs to be processed and another to be submitted.
Well, I still have a claim open that needs to be processed and another to be submitted. However, the claim for my dog Shadow's surgery for the removal of two cysts, I thought it was outrageous that I was charged two sperate deductibles because they were determined to be two different types of cysts. It was one event, one surgery to remove two growths. It's basically the same as charging two separate deductibles if my dog had gotten hit by a car and broke a leg and had a punctured lung. Or quite possibly you already do that. You should reconsider this policy because I'm extremely unfair and I'm unsatisfied with the results of this claim. Prior to that I thought the claims I submitted were completed fairly.
