The turnaround time on my claim was surprising and appreciated. I was unable to reach anyone by phone as the wait time was way long. I did email and the response time was very good as well. All and all, a great experience.

Just signed up for insurance on our new pup. Quoting process was simple, signing up was simple and live chat help was actually helpful. Hoping we don't need to use insurance but feel better knowing we have it. The rates were also one of the cheapest for the same if not more coverage.

Seamless claim process and quick payment
So glad I took out insurance on my dog Blu thru Healthy Paws. Blu suffered a torn knee ligament in both kness several months apart. Healthy Paws handled my claims without any problems or issues. They covered all expenses related to the surgery. The claims were approved and a check mailed very quickly. I highy reccomend Healthy Paws and having pet insurance. Both surgeries were in the 5K range.

Go elsewhere!
If your looking for pet insurance look elsewhere. It has been 40 days since submitting a claim and customer service just says they have a lot of claims they are dealing with right now. Absolutely unacceptable. I canceled them today because I am just paying for everything out of pocket at this point. Completely useless company.

Ear Infection considered "Pre-Existing" condition!
First, had to go through hoops to even file a claim. You cannot file on-line, only through the app. Then you have to answer a series of questions to an "automated person" and even submit to a "video" of you describing the events of the illness. I rescued a dog. Took him to the vet shortly after adopting him and he diagnosed with an ear infection and prescribed drops. I then purchased Lemonade a few weeks later. The first claim I submitted was over a year later for another ear infection. My claim was denied as they stated it was a "pre-existing" condition. An ear infection is an acute illness, not chronic. I will be filing a complaint with the Illinois Department of Insurance and then will cancel this policy. What good is it?
