I spent the better part of a Sunday…
I spent the better part of a Sunday afternoon researching multiple pet insurance policy’s. There were pros and cons to each of them, as there would be with anything involving insurance. However, for me the pros for the ASPCA’ monthly premiums, deductible, reimbursement options, and finally the waiting period until the plan is effective outweighed the cons. I liked that you can tailor your plan to your pets specific needs. All the while making sure that you have enough coverage, and the deductible you’re comfortable having to come out of pocket for annually. The one downside, or inconvenience is that the claims aren’t handled by the veterinarians office. Each qualifying visit requires you to gather all the information for the form to be completed, and then send it to the claims center for review to get reimbursed. Other than the additional steps you as the owners have to take for the claims process, it seems to be a pretty solid choice.

Stay away from this BAD FAITH insurance…
Stay away from this BAD FAITH insurance company. Every claim denied in full or in part for services that are part of the policy. They will use the pre-existing condition clause to deny every time even when your Vet writes a letter to confirm it is UNRELATED. Biggest scam pet insurance company to date. ONLY expect small claims to be paid. Bait and switch imho.

The policy could be better…
The policy has some coverage limitations and/or exclusions I would rather not have, I cannot add the coverage back. There is no coverage for micro-chipping. There is no coverage for fecal and blood tests or gland expressing. There is no coverage for Covid-19 treatment. Low wellness coverage limits for preventative/wellness - only $150 per year? One or two vaccines will likely be all that amount covers. The amount does not seem adequate for an entire year.
