Scam with preexisting conditions
Scam with preexisting conditions Make sure your pet has 12 months with a clean bill of health (that can be proven with records from your vet) before you apply otherwise any preexisting condition and ANY "clinical signs" (meaning anything that could potentially be attributed to the preexisting condition, even if it's caused by something else) will be used to deny your claims. My dog has a preexiting condition (Cushings) and Embrace was not upfront about the fact that this disease basically allows them to deny most of my claims because it has such a huge list of "clinical signs". The dog had a knee injury and a few thousand dollars worth of vet bills, any vet bill that had a mention of a clinical sign from Cushings was denied, even though all complications where precipitated by the knee injury. If the company was upfront about this and had not taken my money for 3 years I wouldn't be as furious as I am now.

Nice and Easy!
This was my first experience submitting a claim and it couldn’t have been more seamless. The claim submission process on the Pets Best website is easy to use. We had our reimbursement within 5 business days of submitting the claim.

The representative I spoke to was very…
The representative I spoke to was very helpful, clear, and gave me a very good first impression of what it’s like to be a Prudent Pet customer. She was very helpful in dealing with a payment issue that ended up being on my banks end. I would give more then 5 stars if that was an option.

What a con! Avoid.
$500 to $900 for thesame service, how, why, wait what?! Honestly just avoid these charlatans. I was astonished to learn that after being a customer for the last two years, having never missed a payment and Embrace rewards me by doubling my premiums over the last 2 years. BTW I went online to get see what a new quote would be as a new customer, and the price was? you guessed it $500 for a new customer for EXACTLY the same service!! This is a despicable practice, and I wonder how many other embrace customers (victims) are falling into this trap. They have auto-renew on your account, and when you try to call them to ask questions or cancel their customer service team is never available to take calls, but if you call the sales line number they answer IMMEDIATELY! Naturally the sales team "has no idea why this is the case and we can only help sell you a new policy not help with existing ones" This is seriously bad practice. I have now been waiting in line for over 2 hours and NO ONE has answered the phone. I am sickened by this practice. I would seriously consider avoiding them and I am genuinely surprised how this outfit claims it is the #1 provider. They don't care about anything other than taking your money and leaving you in the dust! Such a frustrating company to deal with.
