No app for mobile phone
I have yet to make a claim, however after signing up I was quite disappointed to find that technologically they seem a bit behind. The website is antiquated and there does not seem to be an app for mobile phones. All the other providers seem to have apps which makes claim submission much easier. Hopefully, their coverage will make up for these deficiencies.

Just purchased this insurance and here is why..
I just purchased this pet insurance. I researched so many and had it down to 5 that ran close to each other. Many pets price for a $250 deductible was the same as the other 4 for a $500 deductible. That was a big deal to me. The other deciding factor is they don't have caps. The others I was comparing with had a cap of $10,000 per year. As a pet parent I have never had that large of an expense with a pet but the idea that I could pay the same price for unlimited benefits sounds more attractive. I also like the convenience of auto-pay each month. Hopefully I never have to find out how well they handle claims but if I do I will update my review!

Saved my puppies life
I recently brought a new puppy into my home. The day I got him he was diagnosed with parvo. Luckily, I had trupanion insurance on him. Without their help I don’t know if I could afford his treatment. My puppy is alive right now because of trupanion.

When I adopted a dog last year 30 days of free insurance came with the adoption.
When I adopted a dog last year, 30 days of free insurance came with the adoption. My new dog got critically ill about 3 weeks after I got him. Trupanion covered his veterinary emergency bills promptly. Unfortunately, he died and Trupanion's staff treated me with great kindness and even sent a sympathy card. I recommend them highly.
