Great Pet Insurance
My 9month old kitten was diagnosed with gingivostomatitis, an autoimmune disorder that requires the removal of all teeth. I purchased Healthy Paws pet insurance for him a few months prior. They came through and reimbursed 80% of the cost within 3 weeks of his surgery! I have an 80/20 plan with a $250 deductible and would highly recommend this to any pet owner. In fact, I see pet insurance as a requirement for owning a pet.

Great Service!
Been very happy with the services I have received from Healthy Paws. I started the service with I got my puppy chocolate lab he was 13 weeks old. He is now 5 1/2 years old and just suffered a CCL injury on his rear leg. The surgery is stressful enough but working with Healthy Paws was effortless. I submitted the surgery Invoice and within a week it was approved and a check is on the way. They have also followed up to see how my boy is feeling. Great service! Highly Recommend

Trupanion worked with the veterinary clinic and made the payment process as painless as possible.
I had hoped this policy would never be used, but I am grateful that when it was needed it came through as promised. however, I would suggest pet owners make sure they acquire the policy at the earliest time as the pre-existing exemption can be difficult

Incredible Customer Service & Easy Claim
Okay so our dog Winnie has Fractured Coronoid Process in her joints (common in pure-breeds which she isn't). The procedure was ~$7k. We thought we were screwed. HealthyPaws Customer Service supported us the whole way. They provided Direct Pay so we only had to pay our deductible rather and got back to us in less than 2 days. They don't cover everything which is a huge bummer. For example, they won't cover the $200 consultation fee to tell us that Winnie had FCP.

Waste of money, horrible experience!
Absolutely the worst experience with pet insurance. Denied a claim for "pre-existing" while it wasn't. Tried to call multiple times-- on hold over an hour each time before it gets disconnected. Tried to request a chat with representative to get a clue for next step-- nothing. You get auto replies to all of your emails. When submit a claim, you are given few small sentences to explain so basically you are in 100% relying on the claim department to do their job. They only care about your premiums, good luck getting anything covered. I am canceling this scam.
