Recently my cat and I went through a health scare, well I was stressed about what was happening with my cat, I did not have to worry about how I would afford everything. This allowed me to keep my focus on the most important thing my car. Thank you! the covered everything that they said they would when I bought the package!

Money Wasted
I will pay approximately $200 annually for a wellness coverage that on my initial vist for a new dog it was $291. It covered $150. Reimbursement was prompt. So now with insurance my net payout for my $291 annually wellness visit will be $341. Average annual vist after this is about $175 with $89-95 recovery. You do the math. Needless to say. My last year for enrollment.

Consistently Diappointing Experience with Embrace
Embrace was recommended to me when I adopted my cat. They seemed to immediately act like a non-cooperative insurance company and aggressively deny almost all claims. When my cat injured himself and, additionally, developed a condition which was not pre-existing, Embrace denied almost every item on every claim, resorting to a blanket pre-existing default reason, when, those conditions were clearly not caused by a prior condition and resulting in me having to cover several thousand dollars of out-of-pocket procedures while the Vet was attempting to treat him. I made a mistake by selecting Embrace and would let anyone know who is considering pet insurance to steer clear and investigate having their pet covered by another pet insurance company's policy.

ACL Surgery thank you TRUPANION
A million percent recommend trupanion for pet insurance. My Dog, Boom, has to have double ACL surgery the first one was an emergency. The bill for the surgery was over 5k, with the stress of my dog in pain, being a CPA during tax season, and having a one and a half year old son this was not exactly what I needed. But thanks to trupanion I did not have to stress financially. Boom was able to have a quick successful surgery! one ACL down one more to go! I can not thank Trupanion Enough and will forever be a customer of theirs!

Bilateral TPLO Surgery Experience
My dog had 2 ACL tears and needed double knee surgery (Bilateral TPLO). Our Vet recommended we go to a specialized surgery hospital given the severity of the disease, which would make the cost much higher, however, we were confident that we have a great insurance company who cares about their pet and parents to support us. We had to wait 3 months to get a consultation with the surgeon and another 2 months to have the surgery. Healthy Paws has been incredible partner on our journey, exactly as the policy states, we were reimbursed for everything with minimal effort from our end. Most invoices were reimbursed in 2-3 days (including all pain management medications while waiting to see the surgeon), while the big invoice of the surgery itself was reimbursed in 4-5 days. The website is very easy to submit claims to and if any documents are required, the healthy paws team was very quick to ask for them to process the claim in a timely manner. Knowing how pet parents are already overwhelmed with the surgery and all the information thrown at them, I was expecting for healthy paws to ask me for medical records and surgery records but once I provided the invoice and gave the hospital the insurance records, they worked it all out in the background. All I had to do is submit the invoice for $10K through the healthy paws’ website, and boom few days later, no questions asked, I was reimbursed 80% of it.
