As a result of the deductible virtually nothing was covered.
As a result of the deductible, virtually nothing was covered. If we can't claim in emergency cases such as the one we had (UTI in our puppy), I'm not sure how much value pet insurance would offer.

Pet insurance is totally worth the fee!
We’ve had dogs for the past 50 years and never had pet insurance — spent so much on various illnesses, surgeries, etc. Finally signed up for insurance for our present dog and it’s totally worth the cost. Our dog developed a dietary issue that meant prescription medicine. Trupanion has come through for each bill.
