Many people often ask me why I purchased pet insurance for Bishop, as they felt it was an unnecessary thing to do. My response has always been I may never need the coverage but the peace of mind it gives me is important. In a perfect world, I would never have had to make a claim for Bishop but unfortunately, we found ourselves in a crisis situation, and emergency care was required to stabilize her, and moving forward ongoing testing and treatment will be needed. On our way to the Ontario Veterinary College with Bishop, I worried about the care, diagnostics, and treatments she would need to keep her as happy and healthy as we possibly could. During her intake examination I never once had to worry about the financial aspects of obtaining medical care and treatment for her – Trupanion meant the highest standard of care was available. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone considering getting a pet – the care and compassion I have received from the Trupanion team has been outstanding. My claims were processed and approved within 24 hours, and funds were directly deposited into my account.
