Excellent coverage
We have had Trupanion for approximately 5 years now and they have been a Godsend. Our Yazzi has had to have 2 PTLO surgeries...has Hip Dysplasia...and is allergic to dust and receives allergy shots monthly. Once the deductible was met for the conditions...we have been reimbursed 90% after quick claims processing. Trupanion is definitely the way to go for excellent medical coverage on your fur babies.

Initial Contacts
This was my first contact with ManyPets. The lady on the phone was pleasant and informative. I have been comparing plans and decided to give your company a try. I hope that my future encounters with ManyPets will be as positive.

A rip-off? TBD
So far I don’t think this company is worth anything. My 4.5 year old dog is completely healthy and had only seen mobile vet clinics for vaccinations and flea/tick prevention meds up until last month. When I started my policy in September I was under the impression that there was a waiting period for coverage to start if no act was taken on my part, and if I wanted immediate coverage I needed to go in for a checkup to verify there were no pre-existing conditions within a 2 week period. Since I am a busy emergency room nurse during a pandemic, and since my mobile vet clinic kept rescheduling due to covid, I ended up opting for the waiting period. So imagine my surprise when over 6 months into paying for insurance, and well after the waiting period has ended, my dog gets a tick bite and embrace tells me that it may not be covered because they didn’t have a well visit sent in the first 2 weeks of coverage. AS IF A CURRENT TICK BITE IS A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION!! The tick head was literally still in her body. I called customer service last week (be prepared for a 45 minute wait on hold), and I re-sent the doctor’s notes to the agent I spoke with. I still see the claim status as “on hold” pending documents today. Crazy. If they deny this claim I’ll be calling a lawyer for full reimbursement of all payments sent.

never had an insurance experience human or otherwise as good as this
can't say enough about the service we received for charlie, our 16 week golden retriever - poor guy had a seizure, rushed him to hospital and you can imagine how distressed we were and how anxious and confused he was. Even as he was rushed into emergency service, reception was submitted our form and within 10 minutes of submission we had an pre-approved expenses. And clear concise and empathetic communication from the Trupanion. First rate all the way

This is how insurance should be
This is how insurance should be- no, it isn’t necessarily cheap, but a fair cost- we pay our annual premium and when it’s time to submit a claim we simply upload the paperwork and we get our percentage of reimbursement back. It has been simple and fast each time we’ve had a claim. There are no surprises and no long waiting period.

Huge Premium Increase
I am giving this pet insurance company a 1 star rating. I recently received an annual premium increase of 40% with no claims made! Having my other dogs insured with another insurance company, I have never, ever seen rate hikes of this amount. I will never buy from Fetch again, nor would I recommend to dog friends either.

My claim for my dog was covered with out hesitation
My puppy eats EVERYTHING! I literally can not let her out of my sight, but we are a family and I am not the only one who cares for her, so sometimes she gets into things she shouldn't. She managed to eat a squeaker out of a toy plus a bunch of the stuffing while she was in her crate after we had gone to bed (lesson learned, no toys in crate). I took her to the vet when she woke me up at 2:00 am whining (I guess the stuffing made her super thirsty). I noticed the squeaker was no where to be found, so after googling what I should do I immediately took her to the vet, to try to avoid a blockage and a very expensive vet bill. They induced vomiting and the stuffing and squeaker came out. Then a couple of weeks later, she was in the backyard with us and she ate some wild mushrooms and got very sick. Again, straight to the vet for a very expensive bill, which was covered by pets plus us. Then after my claim went through I noticed on the bottom it said that your dog can only claim three times in it's lifetime for any of the following: foreign body ingestions, porcupine quill impalement and/or lacerations, fight/bite wounds/lacerations, motor vehicle injuries and poison ingestions. So now, my dog has made two claims in this very broad category, so I have to hope over the rest of her life (which is probably like 14 more years) she doesn't get hit by a vehicle or bitten by another dog or cut herself badly etc. I feel this is a bit unfair. I think repetitive behaviour is one thing, for instance, maybe she shouldn't be covered for eating mushrooms again, because as a pet owner I should now know better and make sure she stays away from them. And maybe she shouldn't be covered if she ingests another squeaker, because again, I know not to leave toys in her crate. But what does any of that have to do with her getting bit by another dog or lacerated while playing on a trail etc? Or the odd chance that a porcupine jumps out of the woods and gets her with a quill. I mean come on, these are very different scenarios that I think should be covered.

ASPCA Pet insurance is amazing
ASPCA Pet insurance is amazing! I did not get it until my kitty Tsunami was 17 years old as she had been healthy her whole life. I knew she was getting older and I wanted her to have a fighting chance if anything went wrong. After having the insurance for about 8 months, Tsunami all of sudden became ill. I really wasn't sure what the insurance covered but I did what I needed to do to find out what was wrong with my baby. After several vet trips with tests and bloodwork and finally a biopsy my baby was diagnosed with Oral cancer. She lasted about a week after the final diagnosis and we said our goodbyes at home when Paws into GRACE came to us. The grief and the sadness we felt was overwhelming but I have to give this insurance company some major credit as I was able to get back more than half of what I had paid for Tsunami's end of life care and all the expenses to diagnose and treat. It took a huge financial burden off of us which is the last thing you need when you are grieving a loss! Thank you ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for being there for us during this difficult time. They even called us today to give us condolences for our loss. I highly recommend this company due to the amazing customer service that I experienced.
