I know, we were told 5 years into paying that we "should have taken out a special policy" We were NEVER told that that was an option. You manage to spin everything back to when she was 6 months old with an infection.

The Best Insurance for your Fur babies
We have had Trupanion since my shih Tzu Daphne was 8 weeks old. It is such a blessing. She is now 12 years old and with this insurance we have been able to take care of our precious baby and get her the best care when she needed it. Lately she has heart issues and we were able to get a cardiologist to check her out. Everyone who loves their fur babies need this Insurance for peace of mind and best care for them when needed!

Very grateful to have this insurance
We had a very stressful set of days once our dog became ill, ending up at two different ER vets and having her undergo emergency surgery to remove a blockage in her stomach and intestines. We've had Trupanion insurance for her for more than 3 years, but had never experienced an incident so serious in nature and we weren't sure what would happen financially in the aftermath. We filed our bills online and received notification within a few days that the majority of the costs were covered, which was a huge surprise and even bigger relief. We're so grateful to have this insurance and we will continue to keep both of our beloved dogs on it. We weren't expecting anything so bad to happen to our dog, but we are glad we were prepared!
