Our vet recommended we buy this insurance because our pit bull most likely would have a skin condition and on our second visit it turned out he was correct we submitted the claim after the review of the case they took care of the claim in a timely matter I would recommend this insurance to other's

I’m not one to trust insurance…
I’m not one to trust insurance companies, and maybe I lucked out on this particular case. Maybe there was no hidden fine print they could use, to get out of paying but Trupanion came through yesterday! Dog had two broken teeth. So badly broken the vet couldn’t root canal them, abd had to extract both. No pre-approval, on a $4000 bill!!! Within 5 minutes of the vet submitting the claim, Trupanion approved their payout of a little over $3000. I thought I was going to have to fight, argue, pay up front and try and get money back after. I was surprised at the ease and speed. Would highly recommend to anyone. (I’ve had it since he was a puppy. Now 4)
