Excellent insurance with an easy to use App
Excellent insurance with an easy to use app. We chose Wellness (the max amount) and Accident/Illness with a $200 deductible for our 6mo old puppy. Thankfully he's healthy and had no issues prior to obtaining insurance. Both parts of the insurance have already proven to be invaluable. We used the Wellness for our pups neutering, grooming, training, anal expressing, vaccines, ticks/flea treatments, etc. We still have money left for use on our wellness plan and have until April of next year to do so. Recently he began vomitting and had diarrhea. The bill was $245. I didn't want to also pay a $200 deductibl so i didnt file a claim. Well a few wks later it happened again. This bill was $200. I decided to submit both claims and just pay the deductible. Turns out that they just took the deductible from the 1st claim and I was reimbursed $45! So for the 2nd claim I will be reimbursed in full!! And no more deductible to worry about until we renew next year! It's horrible if your furbaby becomes ill. To not be able to get the medical help needed could be devastating. So thankful for Embrace Insurance. Our claims have all been reimbursed within 1 week. Just make sure to get a copy of your vet's notes as well as the invoice for accident/illness claims. For Wellness, you just need the invoice receipts.

Healthy Paws took care of us while we took care of Zeus
Zeus our family cat had a rough Nov and Dec 21. A couple of major operations and some maintenance follow-ups had the whole family worried beyond words. Thankfully, its now six months later and Zeus is once again back to his lovable self thanks to the medical care he received and the help we got from Healthy Paws. Often, he chases his brother cat from the outside Catio across the couch and up the stairs and he looks like a cheetah the way he bounds, and bounds is the right word because he looks exactly like a cheetah mid-stride! He makes us happy every day and we thank healthy paws for being there when we needed them.

Healthy Paws has done nothing for me except steal my money every month, for two dogs, for over four years. In four years I have put in 6 claims, and I have received nothing! My claims have been denied each and every time. Every time I put in a claim they have some new song and dance as to why I was denied. As I type this I am on hold… canceling my two dogs insurance. I am going with another Insurance company, as this one only takes from me!

Trupanion is worth it
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I really like how it works with my vet and I only pay my share upon checkout. No filing a claim to get reimbursed.

Your 'pre-existing condition' and 'appeals' process is a joke. Because my dog had a skin rash ONCE as a puppy, Trupanion now denies anything related to an ear infection. Tru-ripoff
