Fast Claim Completion/ Reimbursement

Prudent was quick with responses and needed information in order to smoothly complete the claim. Must note you have to have a medical visit within a year of a claim otherwise it will not be approved.

When I am applying for Figo i was…

When I am applying for Figo i was expecting my dog can have regular care. Now I am paying for 46€ per month to have a 75€ maximum preventive care per year such as vaccinations. The application is misleading and now even though I choose the monthly payment option they say i need to wait 1 year to cancel my contract. Now i stuck with them, definitely not suggest. The text below is from their application form.. "Unlimited consultations Standard preventive care such as vaccinations Treatments and medications for digestive problems Treatments and medications for ear, skin and eye infections Treatments for joint complaints"

First time we made a claim, and it's so easy!

We have been fortunate enough that this was our first time using our pet insurance. Having Spot when our dog had surgery gave us piece of mind. Starting a claim was easy, and we were reimbursed to get the vet bills paid. I highly recommend this insurance to anyone with a pet!

Pros & Cons

Pros: • We’ve been with Embrace for 10 years, and overall they’ve been very reliable. • When claims were mistakenly flagged as “pre-existing,” my vet provided documentation and Embrace corrected it and paid. • Customer service has been fair and responsive. Cons: • Premiums rise every year, no matter the policy type. • Currently paying over $500/month for two dogs (one older, one young and healthy). • The USAA member discount is minimal and hardly noticeable. Overall: Embrace has been trustworthy when it comes to paying claims, but the steep and ever-rising premiums make it hard to justify the cost — especially when one pet has had no health issues at all
