Easy to Enroll - Too many Emails sent
Enrollment was easy. Chat option was great as I assessed options. Website answered a lot of my questions. You send WAY TOO MANY emails though.

claim for splenectomy
Claim took 3 weeks and then needed to appeal the deductible amount. I did get responses every time I emailed or called, which was good.

Terrible
Terrible, terrible, I sent 4 emails, no response, I tried calling 5 times and was on hold at least one hour each time. The last time I called I just set the phone down and waited while I ate and did some chores. Finally someone answered, I couldn't get the word "CANCEL" out of my mouth quick enough, sure glad my dog didn't need anything.

Didn’t have to make a claim fortunately, but I don’t like the fact that fixed term life insurance is not really fixed. They keep raising premium every year even without making any claims

Dishonest Company
Tripled my premium. Informed me that medical records I submitted were insufficient and when the Vet told me more detailed records didn't exist in their system, HealthyPaws refused to assist in resolving the issue until I had a claim to file. So they wanted to take money from me every month, without helping resolve this issue, and then when it came time to file a claim, they would have a good reason to deny it. Overall, felt very dishonest and like a scam.
