Thank God for Figo!!
Thank God for Figo! I adopted my little dog when he was nine weeks old and I got Figo insurance soon after. My little guy was healthy as can be and then all the sudden things changed and if it wasn’t for this insurance there’s no way I could’ve have afforded vet bills for emergency surgeries, specialist, tests And overnight stays at the vet hospital. I have recommended this insurance to everybody I know with a pet. It’s better To be safe than sorry. To me it pays off in the long run having pet insurance is worth it plus the customer service is awesome! They are always helpful with claims or questions about specialist procedures etc.

I have been communicating with the customer service to resolve an issue. I have provided them the document they wanted from my previous insurers. The issue remains unresolved.

Just processed a claim and completed
Just processed a claim and completed, with no explanation whatsoever. Called the insurance and they said our dog was diagnosed with gastroenteritis which is a desease and not an accident. The thing is our dog ingested something that caused stomach upset and vomitting blood but guess what they will not cover it because they keep saying its gastroenteritis. Ingesting foreign object is included for the accident insurance that they offer but if your dog got gastroenteritis as a result of ingesting foreign object then it's not covered! Funny how they can get away with it and play you with the policies they have. Oh well, time to find another insurance...

I have never had an issue with Sonnet…
I have never had an issue with Sonnet Insurance, though I am sure if I did, it is likely that my rating would go from "great" to "excellent". I mean, no problems at all, so it's hard to judge how their client support is. What I can say is that in my experience Sonnet is affordable and reasonable and generally speaking they have my trust for now.

The turn around on claims is so quick! I love that you can text Figo to ask questions as it makes it much easier to talk when you’re at work. The customer service team is always so sweet and helpful! We recommend Figo to all of our friends!

I have had Trupanion for my dog since…2011
I have had Trupanion for my dog since the day I brought him home as a puppy! My premium was $33.00 and I had FULL coverage with a 0 deductible. My baby meant the world to me. They advertised as NOT raising the rates as your dog gets older! HA!!! I am sitting here with yet another premium increase notice. This time from the crazy already $109.00/mo to $139.00 mo. My dog has had 6 claims in his almost 10 years that they paid a total of $914.92. The cost of premiums alone for next year would total $1668.00! I feel like an absolute FOOL! I do not know what happened to this company, but I am at wits end! You see how much his premium has increased over the years and I have had to decrease his coverage and increase my deductible to keep it even at THAT point! BEWARE!!!! EDIT: Trupanion already responded with stock answer that they have given me every year. That costs have gone up in my geographic area. Well...I was in the same geographic area when I gave all the information provided. I have never moved. My dog has never been ill, yet alone severely ill. And again, for them to give the “ story” that they don’t charge more as the dog gets older, but then to give the EXCUSE that other COSTS have gone up, when I haven’t accessed ant services...is just that. A story. I also went on the website and looked at what cost would be to insure puppy with exact coverage, and while not much less... it is less. So why are they charging me more when they know exactly the health of my dog? Again, a scam.
