Denied Claims
My dog just got discharged from the animal hospital this Tuesday 08/31/21 and Healthy Paws denied all my insurance claims sighting a pre-existing condition. He had ITP (6 years ago) and got IMHA a week ago. Different disease as ITP destroys blood platelets and IMHA destroys Red Blood Cell. It was not a pre-existing condition as my dog’s attending physicians said these are 2 completely different diseases. Pre-existing if he had a relapse on ITP but the one he got is IMHA. This is not about money as i can spend twice the amount of money i am claiming. This is about integrity...

Trupanion is awesome!
We took our 10 year old Labrador retriever to the vet the other day for a comprehensive blood test. The vet forgot to send the claim to Trupanion. When I called Trupanion to ask if they had all the information for reimbursing me, Nathan (the rep from Trupanion) was spectacular. He had all my information including when the money would arrive! Trupanion is the easiest company to deal with, paws down!

I took my dog to get some blood work done, along with the parvo and rabies vaccine. All I hd to do afterwards was upload a picture of the receipt to my app and I was reimbursed in less than two weeks. It was great and I’m happy to have a reliable insurance plan for my sweet baby.

Pumpkin Pet Insurance ~ Peace of Mind
I compared the benefits of many many insurance companies and chose Pumpkin for my Standard Poodle, Bella. I like having choices of deductibles, out of pocket, annual routine vet visits, medications, as well as a 90% coverage of expenses! I choose what fits my budget and peace of mind and Bella’s medical coverage! Pleased that her claims can be quickly and easily filed online and turnaround time of payment is minimal!

Great customer service, fast turn-around on claims!
I've been with Trupanion for over 10 years; I signed up when they were quite new. As they grew, I figured their customer service would not be as good, and that claims turn-around would slow down. All these years later, I'm pleased to report that not only is the customer service still stellar; the claims process is faster and easier than it was when I first joined. My reimbursements arrive via direct deposit within a few days of submitting a claim online, and the coverage is usually reasonable and in line with my expectations (I did appeal two denials once and won - This was also an easy process). I have recommended Trupanion to many vets and pet owners. I am certain there is not a better pet insurance provider out there. Also: when your pet develops a chronic condition, like Osteoarthritis, having the extra 'Complementary Care and Wellness' package brings such peace of mind - Our dog's arthritis is getting worse, and the extra coverage is paying for most of her cold laser therapy and Adequan treatments - She is doing so much better and is a very happy and active dog once again. Thank you, Trupanion!

This company is excellent
This company is excellent. Not just because they actually pay out on claims, but also they are efficient, thorough and very fast. We had the unfortunate experience of our dog coming down with some sort of virus and a also some kind of hard growth on her belly. She needed x-rays, ultrasound, bloodwork, stool tests, the whole gamut. Turned out it was just a Gastrointestinal infection and some fatty tissue build up which turned out to be harmless and she was OK after a few days with some medicine. You just don’t know any of this until after the visits, but those few visits to the emergency vet cost me over $2000 in the course of three visits over 8 days. I submitted a claim after each visit and it was promptly processed and reimbursed within a couple of days each time. I hope we don’t have to use our insurance very often, but it’s nice to know that if we do we have a reliable company now.
