We have been clients of Sonnet for many years. The client service on the general insurance side has been great, but not impressed with the claims side. Still waiting for our home claim to be finalized from June 2020.

I would like to say thank you so much for my insurance sonnet and thank you so much for understanding my situation on my being let to pay the monthly fee. I'm honestly never had like sonnet insurance on my car insurance history a fulfill helped and understanding the customers on difficulty situations. Keep it up great customer service, a great insurance make happiness on confidence on my safe driven 100%.

High rates for low km.
My house insurance rate is really good but despite having a clean driving record, Sonnet does not offer good rates for drivers with low kilometers. Sonnet currently charges me about 25¢ per km. for car insurance.

Unlucky 9%
The website claims a 91% customer satisfaction score. Guess I'm one of those unlucky 9%. Nothing happened to my claim for 2 days until I called and asked why I hadn't heard from an insurance adjuster yet. They said they needed more information - yet no one had bothered to call me to follow up. Things did pick up when I finally heard from an insurance adjuster and I was overjoyed that she found me a rental car. But now I find out my car is still in the tow truck yard a week since my claim was submitted. I'm really not impressed.

They don't cover common claims, they're incredibly slow (It took them 2.5 months to process my claim), and it takes a while to get someone on the phone. However, the customer service is quite good, so they got upgraded from 1 to 2 stars.

Sonnet : fast and easy!
I really like Sonnet insurance. I have both my car and home insured through them. My only thing where’s there’s room for improvement is more transparency and warning on when and why rates have increased. Love that everything is digital and easily accessible. My old insurance provider had asked me so many questions I couldn’t answer like how far a fire hydrant was from my building! Did they expect me to actually measure something like that? I have fortunately never needed to make a claim but I expect that Sonnet would make that easy to do just like everything else.

Highway Robbery
I am so upset and extremely disappointed in Trupanion. Be prepared for off the charts increase in premiums every year. Last October they raised my rates close to 20.00 per per, I have four animals. Now they just did it again. I’m paying almost 200.00 more per month then what I was paying two years ago. When I signed up they told me I would have minimal increases. A total misrepresentation of the truth. Be aware and search around for a company that cares about the middle class and doesn’t cater to the wealthy.
