Unexpected illness

My cat Chili suddenly became ill mid Feb..I took him to emergency vet clinic and he stayed there for 3 days..I had to cancel my Cancun trip since we didn't get a conclusive reason for the sickness except WBC was through the roof.. they paid every bill and it is still ongoing, thank-you I am so grateful to not have to decide if I could treat him or not ¤ï

It has been 2 months since I filed a claim. Going back and forward. First, they decided to call it a pre-existing condition which they apologized for 4 weeks later as a mistake. They are asking over and over for more medical history even though they received all of it. I am so sick and tired of this nonsense. Such a little thing as an allergic reaction and a few hundred dollars treatments They obviously do not want to pay, I can only imagine if anything more serious happens!!!!! I am ready to choose someone else. I was insured with them for 5 years and I have 4 animals but never needed an assistant. They have no problem raising my premium each year!!!! I do not wish anybody to go through this nightmare.

Cost and benefits

We have been researching policies for River since he was a 12 week old puppy. We decided on the Many Pets policy because we feel it will meet our needs well.

Good for wellness not so much for emergency

This insurance was great when my puppy needed all her shots, etc. Now she's 11 months old, had an accident while playing which required a visit to an emergency vet hospital. My bill was over $700.00 but I was only reimbursed less than $90.00. I got the accident and illness rider for just this situation and I am not satisfied. I am actually thinking about dropping this rider.

Pathetic Part 2

Pathetic Part 2 Well, we did as your response to our original "Pathetic" review, we called your customer service. They claimed it was denied because of our Bulldog having "Stenotic Nares". Hmmm, to correct Stenotic Nares the dog would have to have his nostrils widened via surgery. Every Vet web site outlines this quite well. As previously noted in our original "Pathetic" review our dog needed a reduction in soft palate. Below is taken from his ACTUAL MEDICAL RECORD ON THE ENCOUNTER DATE ... Physical Exam: 5) Respiratory: Increased upper respiratory noise, elongated soft palate, MILDLY stenotic nares – no Nasal discharge tracheal palpitation unremarkable, pulmonary auscultation clear bilaterally with referred laryngeal sounds Plan Recommended palate resection Hmm, don't see any mention of "Stenotic Nare" surgery... maybe because his assessment was MILDLY. And, by the way, he did have a Palate resection. Now we are waiting for you to send us your "appeal" form. I'm assuming you will be getting a "Pathetic 3" soon after. Hey... just a thought regarding customer service... call our Vet... she would be more than happy to educate you
