They triple your rates after you join.
I’m just waiting for the class action. I want to be the first to join. So by all means, buy their insurance if you want to get in on that class, too. Every year they’re going to raise your rates, by 20 to 40%. I started off insuring both of my dogs for under $100. Now it’s $160 for one dog; I had to drop the other due to cost. They say they won’t raise your rates, and when you inquire about each annual rise, they will say that veterinary costs have risen in your area. They are saying veterinary costs have tripled in a few years. Do you believe that? I don’t.

Don't bother getting pet insurance if you have ever taken your dog to the vet for an injury or illness.
If your're going to get pet insurance get it before you see a vet for any problems. Otherwise you will be denied payment for any claim that can be associated with anything that occured before your pet was insured. They like to claim it was a preexisting condition even if you paid to have the condition corrected. In most cases you're probably better off setting aside the monthly premium and the deductible in an account to pay cash for vet visits as needed.

Best pet insurance ever
Best pet insurance ever. The people are so understanding and helpful - and even sent a follow up email to see how my dog was doing. The emergency vet cost a small fortune but Healthy paws was right there with a large reimbursement within 1-2 days, which really helped me get through the emergency knowing that I didn't have to worry about money. It's sure easy to submit a claim and they are really responsive. I'm so thankful to have them because you never know when something can happen with a pet. Thank you, Healthy Paws!
