Slow and often unwilling to process claims. Difficult to get help
I recently switched from another insurer. I have found pets best to be very slow and unwilling to process claims. They will close out your claim and not pay it if they do not receive the medical records. It is very difficult to get someone on the phone to help. Other pet insurers will not insist on so much documentation to process claims and are easier to reach by phone and email. Look else where, this is not a well run insurance.

I signed up through my employer. Then they wanted medical records for my 4 year old dog. I said that was too difficult for pet insurance. Then they responded and said don’t worry about the medical records but I had already purchased elsewhere. Oh and you’re still emailing me.

Very professional and when the time came staff really helped me.....I was a complete mess when my 7 year old shitzu was diagnosed with IMHA....thanks to all the staff who helped me the day i called . They treated me with compassion and guided me every step of the way.....true angels.....I don't even want to imagine what if I had no pet insurance!!! Since my Bella has been home I'm a true advocate of Trupanion, I have referred and shared my link with family and friends...

Everything . MetLife Pet ins is amazing. I would have never thought I could get reimbursed for preventive visits etc for my pet. I am so happy. And they make it easy to submit claims. This is wonderful. I wish I had known about this years ago with my other 3 dogs. My daughter told me about this ins. She has it also. I am telling everyone I know with pets about it
